A peculiar set of map co-ordinates seem to point towards a clue about GTA 6 – either that or Rockstar are trolling people again.
Although it’s generally assumed that Rockstar is currently working on GTA 6, and probably has been for some time, there’s no official confirmation of that and Rockstar has certainly never admitted anything publicly.
With the next gen versions of GTA 5 due to be released next year it seems unlikely they’d announce a full sequel until afterwards but some fans think they might already have, sort of.
The theory centres around the teaser trailer for the recent Cayo Perico update, which shows a set of GPS coordinates for a brief second – coordinates which are centred on a dirt road in Virginia, that just happens to look like the Roman numeral for six.
That sounds silly when put like that, but the coordinates are there for all to see and, well, the road does look a bit like a V and an I.
How anyone at Rockstar knew there was a dirt road in the middle of nowhere that shape we don’t know but they do like their teases and in-jokes, so there’s probably a good chance this is exactly what it seems to be: a hint that work on GTA 6 is underway.
Even if you take things at face value though it still doesn’t give any hint of when GTA 6 might be released, let alone what the setting or anything else will be.
With GTA 5 currently making the next generation transition it’s obvious GTA Online has plenty of mileage left in it, making it impossible to guess when Rockstar might be considering a replacement.
Have Fun ^_^
